Nights in Rodanthe had me crying on page...ahem...13. It was beautifully written, although sometimes Sparks reveals emotions so quickly you wonder if he could have led in a little slower.Now I can't wait to see the movie.
Nonetheless, the somewhat predictable ending and yet familiarly cozy sandwich effect of the "present" around the "past," is a no-fail strategy for selling love-story books.
