Boycott Perez Hilton!

I'm done with all the celebrity coverage from Perez Hilton. Not that I've actually wasted much time before, but what an A-HOLE.

Perez Hilton has completeley undermined his own argument about equal rights and respect for those of different beliefs.

Where are the feminist groups? Where are the equal rights groups and those who uphold the right to have varying opinions in the USA?
First runner-up Carrie Prejean (Miss California) was asked about legalizing same-sex marriage from judge Perez Hilton, the Internet blogger behind perezhilton.com.

"I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody there. But that's how I was raised and that's how I think it should be," Prejean said during Sunday night's live telecast.
Miss California, I applaud you for speaking up for what you believe and how you were raised.

But I guess it's not enough to be beautiful, talented, poised, articulate, and intelligent to win a beauty pagent. I guess you have to be a "politically correct" liberal wingnut.

And finally, I feel sorry for the other girls.
In an exclusive interview with Pop Tarts on Monday night, Miss USA contestant Brooke Werner said that she was shocked by Miss California's controversial response on Sunday evening.

"Everyone has the right to their own actions," Werner said. "But I totally disagree with Carrie. I have a very different perspective on gay marriage and I would never have said what she said."

The remaining 45 pageant princesses watched the competition from backstage and after Prejean's anti gay marriage answer, apparently the room fell pretty silent.

"A lot of people were shocked," the Vermont beauty queen said. "We were all kind of giving each other those eyes, we couldn't believe it."
In hindsight, I'm sure you were "shocked" at her answer and would disagree. You'd disagree to win.

And that's what makes Carrie the real winner.

This is really depressing. I'm glad she stood up for her beliefs, probably knowing full well that if she provided the answer she did, that the crown would not be hers. As you said, he is truly the winner.

Pretty sure I missed the 's' in 'she' before submitting that last sentence. My bad!

Perez Hilton is frustrated because he wants to enter the Miss America Pageant himself, but he knows that he's not pretty enough to win

Hey, I am checking this blog using the phone and this appears to be kind of odd. Thought you'd wish to know. This is a great write-up nevertheless, did not mess that up.
