I will preface my post by saying this: I'm not exactly a raging feminist.

However, this is a clear example of how men put women down in the workplace and why women still struggle to be taken seriously.

If a Republican had been caught saying this? Hmmmm, exhibit A against conservative men who would then be stereotyped as believing all women belong in the home and therefore have to belittle their roles as anything other than wife and homemaker at any chance they can. It's not as conscious a process in the moment, but the underlying perception is there.

Sweetie, get back in the kitchen and make me some pie.
