I'm unpatriotic

Huh?
Democratic vice presidential candidate Joe Biden said Thursday that paying more in taxes is the patriotic thing to do for wealthier Americans.

We want to take money and put it back in the pocket of middle-class people," Biden said in an interview on ABC's "Good Morning America."

Noting that wealthier Americans would indeed pay more, Biden said: "It's time to be patriotic ... time to jump in, time to be part of the deal, time to help get America out of the rut."
Rob from the rich and give to the poor. Rob from hard-working Americans that deserve their paychecks and pay for every sick lazyman to get healthcare.

If that's Biden's version of a patriot, he's free to call me a traitor.

Your generalizations are killing me. There are plenty of people who "deserve" paychecks of more than $250,000 a year, but a lot who don't. And generalizing the 1 in 7 Americans who don't have healthcare insurance as "lazy sickmen" is really offensive. This is a crisis - not something to be treated so blithely.

My generalizations? What about Joe Biden's?

The people that I know that make $250,000 a year deserve it. They've worked hard to get there.

And because I don't want to fund universal healthcare - I actually have a job and work hard to budget to pay for my own health insurance and don't want to bother about someone else's, I'm unpatriotic?

Or I can drop my coverage and you can pay for me to go to the doctor when I fall and scrape my knee. Oh poor babies sucking the government teat. Guess again.
